Early Treatment
The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that a child visit the orthodontist for early treatment at the age of seven. Types of Braces

Retention
After you have completed your orthodontic treatment and your braces have been removed or you are no longer wearing your active aligners, we want to retain your teeth following orthodontic movement. Retainers are expected to be worn 23 hours a day excluding eating, brushing, and playing sports for at least 9 months or as directed by Dr. Dorsch. After that, you are expected to wear your retainers for an indefinite period of time. This will ensure that your teeth stay straight and functional.
