Help Your Kansas City Orthodontist, Dr. Dorsch, Help You!

At Creekwood Orthodontics, we understand the severity of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), and as we reopen our offices, we continue to prioritize the health and well-being of our patients and staff. As orthodontic healthcare professionals, it is our job and responsibility to protect patients and staff by continuing to work safely and diligently, as always. Prior to your visit, please make sure to take the time to understand our updated office policies, and please let us know if you have any questions by calling us at (816) 454-6800.

Updated Orthodontic Office Policies

Our updated office policies apply to all of our patients and families. Please review these changes prior to your appointment, and reach out with any questions.

✓ Everyone’s temperature will be taken upon entering our building or office. If anyone is running a fever over 38.0◦ C or 100.4◦ F, you will be asked to return to your car and will need to contact our office to reschedule your appointment after any quarantine order.
✓ Masks are required, due to a citywide mandate, during your visit but will only be provided at our N. Oak location by NKC Hospital.
✓ Check in with the front desk and immediately use hand sanitizer available at the front desk before you sit down if you haven’t already done so after entering the building.
✓ The patient or an adult will be responsible for reviewing and signing two (2) pertinent office forms which include:
    • COVID-19 Patient Questionnaire
    • COVID-19 Supplemental Informed Consent
✓ Update necessary personal information at the front desk including your address, email and cell phone number.
✓ Any payments should be made at the time of patient check in.
✓ Patients must brush their teeth prior to their visit as they are only able to use the brushing station to wash hands before they enter the operatory.
✓ If you are an adult patient, please come alone.
✓ Only one parent/adult should accompany their minor patient into the office.
✓ Siblings, other family members or friends will not be allowed to accompany the patient into the office.
✓ Adequate, social distancing seating will be available in the waiting area and other designated areas or, as in the case of our Cameron location, parents may be asked to return to their cars in order to keep to social distancing requirements.
✓ If you have questions for Dr. Dorsch or our assistants or someone from our staff needs to speak with you, we will relay the message via cell phone and have you come back to the operatory to discuss treatment.

✓ Handwashing is required to enter the operatory!
